The role includes responsibilities for the professional installation of custom home theaters, whole home automation, networking, and business systems. As a Custom Installation Technician, you will be expected to demonstrate your skills in various installations, including LCD/LED/OLED TV installation, projector/screen installation and calibration, and in-ceiling/in-wall speaker installation. You will also be responsible for rack design and cable dressing, ensuring that all installations meet the high standards expected by our clients. The position requires a strong background in structured pre-wire for whole home audio/video distribution, networking principles, and security systems installation. You will need to be adaptable, as the role may involve troubleshooting issues and adapting to frequent changes in project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technician, proficiency in using hand tools, and the ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance). Experience with Araknis network deployments and Lutron RadioRa3 programming is a plus. You will also need to have a valid Texas driver's license and a high school diploma or GED. This position is full-time, with availability required Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and some Saturdays and overtime may be required.
