About The Position

The custom framing production specialist will lead our team in upholding Blick's commitment to customer satisfaction through exemplary teamwork and meticulous attention to detail. They will be responsible for setting the standard for quality within Blick Custom Services.

Requirements

• Availability to work additional hours, weekends and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
• Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds while using the appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.
• Prolonged walking and standing.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years custom framing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to handle complex framing orders including the ability to come up with unique solutions.
• Experience chopping, joining, packaging frames of high quality.
• Experience cutting acrylic, fitting frames.
• Ability to identify and correct quality issues before and after production.
• Ability to evaluate production and recommend process improvements.
• Working knowledge of framing materials, conservation principles and techniques, and systems for the safe care, handling, and framing of artwork.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate superior customer satisfaction by combining product and other skills training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance to all loss prevention measures and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Process framing orders in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
• Process framing paperwork in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
• Partner with the Production Manager, Production Supervisor, and National Design Services Team to address issues and resolve problems.
• Operate and maintain wood cutting, joining and framing equipment.
• Operate as needed all other equipment including but not limited to the production of stretched canvas, custom printing and packaging.
• Assist in the production and packaging of all custom orders as necessary.
• Discharge all assigned responsibilities in a safe, and responsible manner.
• Perform all other assigned duties as directed by members of the Management Team.
