About The Position

As a team member at Michaels, you will build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art. You will help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for, while providing a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment. Your role will involve adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, executing company policies and standards, and embracing personal design by using Elevated ABC to build relationships with customers. You will be responsible for delivering sales and production results, completing framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time, and maintaining the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas. Additionally, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist with omni-channel processes, and participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Execute Company policies and standards.

• Build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for customers.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
• Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with omni-channel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
