About the position
The Custom Applicator position at Nutrien involves the application of crop protection products and the operation of spray equipment to support agricultural practices. Responsibilities
- Handle the proper application of crop protection products
- Operate all spray equipment
- Spray and calibrate pesticides
- Operate computers on equipment
- Mix, load, and apply pesticides/fertilizers
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assist mechanic
- Maintain application/spray records
- Pick up and deliver product to customers, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
- Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
Nice-to-haves
- Applicator's and Fumigation License is a plus
- Previous application experience is a plus
