About The Position

The Custom Application Supervisor coordinates treatment applications with the sales team and customers and leads the application team. This position is also responsible for informing customers of the product to be used, product rates and cost per acre.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Two years of work experience is required.
Mechanical knowledge.
CDL and pesticide license is required.
Ability to read field maps.
Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle. Must be able to meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
Applicants for positions requiring operation of a moving vehicle or interaction with heavy equipment must meet the legal age requirement.
Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

Nice To Haves

Leadership experience is preferred.
General farming knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of ag pesticides, fertilizers and weed identification is preferred.
Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.

Responsibilities

Schedules applications with the Applicators ensuring proper timing of the application.
Ensures that the Applicators know the correct fields, the product to be used and product rate.
Oversees the mixing of product to ensure proper chemical ratio.
Manages billing to ensure that all products and applications are billed correctly.
Maintains all application equipment including expense management.
Tracks all records of applied chemical and fertilizer, rates of product and wind and weather conditions at the time of application.
Ensures that Applicators wear the proper protection and safety equipment.
Provides input on purchases of new equipment regarding selection and justification relative to income.
May be required to operate a company vehicle.
Manages other members of the team.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
Reliable and regular attendance is required.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
