A Technician II is a skilled manufacturing technician who is responsible for development and manufacturing of products tailored to a customer’s specific requirements. This position requires some experience and technical knowledge. Some required responsibilities include formulating custom orders, operating laboratory equipment, following procedures and regulations, and taking quality control samples. This position reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Formulated Research Products: TNFRP-Custom and Stock Products (CaSPr) located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role. SHIFT: Mon-Fri 6a-3p

Requirements

  • Associate’s (2 year) degree or comparable combination of education and experience required
  • Some lab experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s (4 year) degree preferred.
  • Science related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
  • Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
  • Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
  • Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.
