About The Position

ROCK SOLID JANITORIAL Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner for both full-time and part-time positions. The role involves performing custodial work in various settings including offices, warehouses, and industrial areas. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in these environments.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Sanitizing restrooms
• Emptying trash
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and spot cleaning carpets
• Dusting and spot cleaning walls
• Polishing stainless steel fixtures
• Dusting blinds, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and desk tops
• Removing stains from rugs, walls, upholstery, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Sweeping walkways
• Setting up carts and brut barrels
• Relining brut barrels with small and large liners
• Pulling trash from offices and changing liners
• Wiping desk tops while pulling trash
• Detailing sections each night
• Cleaning restrooms thoroughly
• Replenishing supplies on the cart
• Restocking toilet tissue
• Emptying trash including sanitary boxes
• Cleaning toilets, urinals, and sinks thoroughly
• Wiping clean all walls
• Sweeping floors under toilets and urinals
• Wet mopping floors
• Using air freshener
• Restocking cart for the next day
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Handling difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner
• Following directions
• Being reliable and responsible
• Mixing solutions correctly
• Reporting to work on time and working scheduled shifts
