About The Position

The position involves performing all cleaning tasks on campus, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing office breakrooms, restocking supplies in restrooms and kitchens, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, emptying trash and recycling bins, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning interior glass and windows, tracking cleaning supply inventory, and following all facility safety procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial, housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (especially in office or industrial environments)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean space
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking throughout the day
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize office breakrooms (tables, counters, sinks, appliances, etc.)
• Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchens (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.)
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces in shared areas (door handles, tables, etc.)
• Empty trash and recycling bins in offices, restrooms, and break areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean interior glass and windows
• Track cleaning supply inventory and communicate restocking needs
• Follow all facility safety procedures and report any issues promptly
• Other duties as assigned.
