The Custodian position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the store, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. This role requires a friendly demeanor, as the custodian will interact with customers regularly, providing assistance and ensuring their needs are met. The custodian is responsible for both inside and outside store cleanliness, which includes a variety of tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and power washing. The custodian will also monitor and maintain equipment, report any issues to supervisors, and assist customers in various ways to enhance their shopping experience. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the custodian will be responsible for ordering cleaning supplies, conducting inventory on products, and ensuring that all areas of the store are well-kept. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, as the custodian will greet customers, learn their names, and assist them in locating products. The custodian will also perform secondary duties such as price checks, returning carts, and cleaning cooling systems as needed. Overall, this role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring that the store operates smoothly.
