About The Position
The Custodian will ensure all common areas throughout the facility are well kept and cleaned at all times.
Requirements
- Able to stand for the majority of your shift.
- Strong attention to detail
- 1 year of custodial experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs general, routine custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
- Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
- Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking inventory supply levels.
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Follows all Food Safety protocols while cleaning areas within the Packhouse or Greenhouse.
- May assist or perform minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
