About The Position
A custodian is responsible to perform general inspection, cleaning, and stocking of supplies in all common areas inside our manufacturing facilities. The associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Their duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant and emptying trash cans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three years related experience and/or training.
- Skills and experience with facility janitorial maintenance a plus.
- Read, write, speak and comprehend English, understand verbal or written instructions, provide verbal or written information to others, work continuous shift if requested, work scheduled or unscheduled overtime if requested, maintain a good attendance and punctuality record, follow all safety rules.
- Ability to push/lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals including bleach and solvents as needed.
