About The Position
MalaceHR is seeking Custodians in an commercial/manufacturing environment in Farmington Hills, MI 4p-12:30a $15.00/hour MUST have reliable transportation and GREAT attendance. Duties & Responsibilities Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines Strips, scrubs, buffs, shampoos carpet and refinishes floors Performs other duties as assigned While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Removing and Bailing Cardboard Moving and stacking Pallets Floor cleaning Fork truck operation
Requirements
- Previous custodial, janitorial, cleaning experience preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
- GREAT attendance
