Job Summary: Keeps the building and facilities in a clean, neat, and safe condition by performing various janitorial duties throughout the building and property.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and the ability to use chemical cleaners according to directions.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal (will train).
- Ability to be self-directed to complete daily, weekly and monthly task.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Standing and walking 8 hours a day
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis, including disinfecting bathrooms, kitchen areas, trash collection, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, replenishing supplies, etc.
- Assist with snow removal, ensuring walkways are clear and safe.
- Assist with other maintenance duties that may arise.
- And other duties as directed by the supervisor
