The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for providing custodial and cleaning services for the site. Employees in this job class perform a variety of functions to ensure facilities are clean and free of safety hazards.
Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, removing trash, and other duties necessary to maintain good housekeeping in office areas.
Cleans and maintains clean rooms to government and/or required specifications.
Moving and lifting objects up to 75 pounds.
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or AA degree or other 2 year post high school vocational/technical education training with a minimum of 2 years experience including some commercial experience to include the following custodial work: Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Cleaning and carpeted areas.
Must be willing and able to work shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Local) on Monday through Friday .
Must be able to work from oral and written instructions.
Must have a valid driver’s Texas license.
