About The Position

We are seeking dependable, committed individuals to join our team as Custodial Support Team Members. Our district operates on a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday, with occasional workdays scheduled on Fridays. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of assigned school buildings
• Clean, restock, and organize custodial closets and storage areas with necessary supplies and equipment
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and cafeterias; perform floor care such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, and buffing
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as unclogging drains and minor painting, as needed
• Set up, arrange, and take down tables, chairs, equipment, shelving, and partitions for meetings, athletic events, and other district functions, including occasional weekends
• Respond to and safely clean spills, including those involving bodily fluids, in accordance with established procedures
