Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Must frequently lift 40 pounds
  • Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day
  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently
  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions

Nice To Haves

  • Animal care experience a plus
  • Displays a professional manner at all times

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning all the play areas (spraying down the turf, picking up water bowls and beds etc.)
  • Spraying down the parking lot
  • Take out trash
  • Mop lobby
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Clean up pet excrement as needed.
  • Checks and picks up excrement from enclosures as needed throughout the day.
  • Reports items in low supply to supervisor
  • Reports needed repairs to supervisor
  • Ensures appropriate feedback for owners for each guest’s stay
  • Completes all required training and attends training sessions as needed/assigned
  • Treats customers, guests and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner; greets all customers encountered while performing work duties
  • Assists other associates as needed
