Valley Medical Group is looking for a Custodian to join our Facilities team and work in our Easthampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! Position: Custodian Location: Easthampton, MA Hours: 20 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 6pm – 10pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview. Travel between health centers may be required. Our Custodial staff work independently and efficiently to ensure the facility is cleaned safely and cost effectively.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience cleaning in a professional setting
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Consideration may be made for relevant work history.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with hazardous materials and chemical handling
Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum cleaner, burnisher, carpet cleaner, etc.
- Ensure cleanliness of bathrooms, exam rooms, offices, hallways, waiting areas, etc.
