About The Position

The Custodian role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization within the facility. This position plays a critical role in supporting a safe, efficient, and professional work environment by ensuring all common areas, breakrooms, and designated spaces meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize break rooms, restrooms, and common areas throughout the facility
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in all assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
• Wipe down tables, counters, appliances, and high-touch surfaces regularly
• Restock paper products, soap, and other sanitation supplies as needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or supply needs
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Support general housekeeping standards to maintain an organized facility
