The ideal candidates for this position are detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on cleaning and special projects as needed. The Custodian position will follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of facility operations and grounds.

Requirements

Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
Experience in sports complexes, arenas or large public venues preferred
High school diploma/GED required
Willingness to work a variety of shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 40 pounds as necessary
Must be available to work a flexible schedule; evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities

Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
Clean and sanitize office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
Maintain a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, trash cans, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms
Monitors for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
Cleans and maintain all bathrooms (toilets, sinks, floors, restock supplies, etc.)
Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash
Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests provide answers and directions as needed
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies
