Position Summary: The Custodian -1st Shift cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Great communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Responsibilities
- Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings
- Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces
- Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately
- Sweeps and vacuums floors
- Cleans stains from carpets and upholstery
- Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces
- Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors
- Identifies and reports needed repairs
- Washes windows
- Replenishes supplies, such as cafeteria and bathroom items
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures.
