About The Position

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an opening in Custodial Services for a (part-time) Custodian. We have been ranked No. 1 among U.S. engineering colleges by the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Guide for the last 26 consecutive years. As a member of our custodial team working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 3:00pm-9:00pm you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning functions of campus. This includes keeping Institutional spaces clean, sanitized, and orderly. The operation and general maintenance of custodial related equipment and upkeep is a must. You will be an integral part of maintaining a sanitary and safe environment for all on campus, while providing exceptional customer service. Other duties may be assigned as a department or institute need arises. Qualified candidates will hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and one to two years' work experience required. In addition to the required qualifications, preferred candidates will demonstrate attention to detail. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings that include a background check and physical ability assessment are required of the selected finalist(s). Pay Range is $14.00/hour - $15/hour. Pay is competitive. A higher pay may be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
