About The Position

Custodians ATI has a current need for multiple full-time Custodians . ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Custodian for a full-time position at a government facility in Springfield, Virginia. This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations. Great Pay and Benefits for a Custodian: Competitive pay rate; $25.30-29.87/hour depending on experience and benefits selected; 11 annual paid holidays; Minimum two weeks (80 hours) of annual vacation and up to 56 hours of sick leave per year based on the Service Contract Act (SCA); Employee and family medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance with 75% of the premiums paid by the company; Employer paid short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance; 401(k) plan immediately vesting with 4% employer match; and Professional development assistance including memberships, professional licenses, and tuition reimbursements.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be US Citizens
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment
  • Minimum of two years of working in the custodial field
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working culture
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working near senior government officials is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, elevators, kitchenettes, locker rooms, and a fitness center to include routine sanitizing, dusting, mopping, glass cleaning, and vacuuming
  • Restocking of paper products and soap in restrooms and hand sanitizer throughout the facility
  • Spot cleaning of walls and removing scuffs and stains
  • Emptying trash cans, recycling bins, and cigarette receptacles
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly deep cleaning tasks, such as deep scrubbing floors and exterior power washing and window cleaning
  • Adherence to custodial cleaning schedule
  • Mix, use, and store chemicals per instructions
  • Storing and sanitizing equipment properly
  • Other duties as assigned
