PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Custodian at Catholic Charities: Vacuum hallways at least once daily and classrooms 2 to 3 times weekly and keep them free of trash. Vacuums offices weekly. Sanitize toilets and washbasins in all bathrooms daily. Mop floors in all bathrooms at least once daily. Keep trash picked up from all playground areas and surrounding sidewalk areas. Refill toilet paper, paper towels and soap dispensers at the end of each day and as necessary during the day. Keep walls in hallways and classrooms clean. Wash windows throughout the classrooms as needed but at least quarterly. Strip and waxes floors if applicable, on an as needed basis. Dusts blinds and other surfaces weekly.
