About The Position

Summary/Objective The Custodial / Janitor position is responsible for completing basic cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Sweep, clean, remove trash, and scrap, as well as various janitorial duties Thoroughly clean bathrooms including floors, sinks, counters, commodes and trash changes daily Thoroughly clean break rooms including floors, sinks, counters, tables & seats with trash changes daily Sweep up & remove materials and dirt from underneath & around the racks in stockroom Breakdown boxes & place boxes in recycle bins  Maintain an on-going supply list and re-order products as needed  Store and organize product as required  Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility  Follow a cleaning schedule for daily and weekly duties, determining priority of duties, & following the schedule to ensure cleanliness is maintained Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Read, write and perform basic math functions
• Safety conscious
• Self-initiative
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma and one-year custodial experience in a multi-building environment
