About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in and around the facility as set by company standards and procedures. In this role, the Custodian will handle a wide variety of tasks from assisting in light maintenance projects, ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse, adheres to the sanitation schedule, to keeping the outside grounds of the facility clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years industrial cleaning or commercial custodial experience
• Proficient with basic carpentry

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse with a variety of tools and equipment such as: Motorized floor scrubber, hand brooms, and sweepers
• Maintains and cleans equipment
• Wipe down and clean surfaces throughout the facility such as dusting and moping
• Grounds keeping including disposal of trash, keeping walks clear and possible snow removal
• Assist when needed in performing minor repairs and general carpentry projects
• Maintaining records appropriately
• Other duties may be assigned
