About The Position

We are looking for a professional Janitor able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. This is part-time position.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work
Familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
Prioritization and time management skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality

Nice To Haves

Previous custodial and grounds experience preferred

Responsibilities

Maintaining floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and/or waxing
Dusting wooden surfaces
Emptying and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling
Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking consumables in bathrooms and kitchens
Replacing light bulbs and changing filters
Cleaning windows
Responding to special requests such as emergency clean-up or event preparation
Cleaning and servicing custodial equipment as needed
Performing minor repairs on furniture, buildings, appliances, fixtures, and equipment
Reporting any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards
Ensuring grounds areas are clean and orderly, including shoveling snow and sweeping entry-way
Comply with Company Bio-Security Rules and Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, Animal Welfare Policies and all other Procedures and Standards
