About The Position
Performs general custodial work under slight supervision. This position will be filled based on skill, ability and experience.
Requirements
- Requires moderate mental skill.
- Requires appreciable manual skill, and some slight initiative and independence.
- Occasionally requires considerable physical effort and working in awkward positions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
- Uses cleaning agents, equipment and tools to clean office area, restrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms and hallways.
- Collects and hauls trash to disposal area.
- Prepares rooms for meetings and breaks down rooms after meetings.
- Washes windows.
- Operates floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, rug shampoo equipment and other motor driven equipment.
- Promotes job safety.
- Understands the concepts and participants in the techniques of the quality process.
- Keep work area clean, neat, and orderly.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
