About The Position
The Macon R-1 School District is looking to fill an evening custodial position for the 2025-2026 school year. Full-time openings include board paid health insurance, life insurance, and retirement. Salary includes a 260 day work agreement, which includes 5 paid holidays, 15 PTO days and 10 vacation days. The Custodian helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment that supports a positive learning atmosphere for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- daily cleaning of classrooms
- daily cleaning of offices
- daily cleaning of restrooms
- daily cleaning of common areas
- possible set-up for school activities
