The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas. This role involves performing a variety of janitorial duties, including hazardous waste management (collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping, receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, and packaging special and hazardous waste), operating motorized cleaning equipment, and maintaining the daily upkeep of assigned areas. The individual is expected to report incidents and hazardous conditions to a supervisor, comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and intervene in at-risk behavior. The position requires working effectively in a team, performing repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, following all company protocols, and responding to supervision. Professional appearance and conduct are essential, along with an understanding of customer service, satisfaction, reporting systems, and environmental protocols.
