About The Position

We are looking for a Custodian (9am – 5pm) to join our team and play an essential role keeping our building looking top rate to employees and customers that visit. You will be responsible for the daily cleaning/sanitation in the assigned area. Requirements

• The ability to read and write, drive electric floor scrubbers, lift pallets, push trash containers, wiping, vacuuming, hosing, and sweeping.
• Proven ability to perform on our worksite: Indoors/outdoors, hot, cold, noisy, exposure to color dust.
• Requires standing on metal grating, concrete, and ladders.
• The ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• The ability to operate a riding scrubber, floor sweeper.
• Ability to work well with others.
• A High school diploma or equivalency not required, but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sweep / vacuum floors in the assigned area.
• Run floor scrubber and/or mop floors in assigned area.
• Dispose of the daily trash in the assigned area.
• Wipe down handrails in assigned area.
• Clean restrooms.
• Scrub walls in assigned area.
• Remove trash from designated area.
• Clean stairwells and handrails in designated areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Receive training by Sensient to operate a scissor lift.
