West County Evening School Custodian
About The Position
Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces? Do you enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team? We’re looking for a reliable and motivated custodian to help keep the school in top shape! ✨ What You’ll Do You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the school running smoothly and looking great. Your day-to-day will include: • Maintaining floors (vacuuming, mopping, extracting, etc.) • Cleaning and restocking bathrooms • Emptying trash and keeping common areas tidy • Dusting, sweeping, and general upkeep • Moving furniture and equipment as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of custodial experience
- A fingerprint background check (paid by applicant)
- A drug screening
- A physical exam
- Has a solid work history and shows up ready to work
- Follows instructions with care and attention to detail
- Works well with teachers, staff, and fellow custodians
- Brings a friendly, service-oriented attitude
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 8 feet
- Understands and communicates in English for safety and job duties
