POSITION SUMMARY Maintains cleanliness, upkeep, repair and orderliness of the casino. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and deodorizes all areas when applicable. Removes filled trash bags from bingo hall, restrooms, and kitchen area to outside dumpsters. Replaces all containers with fresh liners and returns them to their proper areas. Cleans trash cans, trash can tops, and metal cigarette ash cans, when dirty. Refills empty/low restroom dispensers. Checks to see if all dispensers are in proper working order, checks for any minor damages, and reports if necessary. Cleans washroom toilets, sinks, urinals, and walls with proper cleansers. Sweeps and mops entire restroom area every 30 minutes. Reports any malfunctions or vandalism to supervisor. Returns all materials used for cleaning to proper places. Requests any supplies needed to supervisor in writing. Reports any unusual wear and tear of building must be reported to the supervisor in writing. Strips, seals, and waxes floors as needed. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.
