About The Position

This position is responsible for keeping the building in a clean and orderly condition. This position performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls / glass and removing trash and debris. Duties also include break area and restroom cleaning.

Medium to heavy physical demands, frequent lifting, carrying parts, stooping, kneeling, balancing, reaching, walking and pushing loaded carts
Operate small hand tools and power tools
Basic math skills
Comfortable working with and around chemicals
Work with noisy equipment
Complete safety training and operate a forklift

Responsibilities

Housekeeping-Cleaning and maintain the health and safety standards for Bonnell (includes unpleasant cleaning tasks)
Operate Floor Sweeper
Empty / Dump Trash
Clean First Aid Station / Area
Maintain Scrap roll-off
Launder gloves, armguards etc.
Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Line Leaders, and co-workers
Keep work area clean and safe
Inform supervisor of any health, safety or equipment concerns
Work without constant supervision at a good pace
Have an acute awareness of conditions and hazards associated with the job
Forklift and overhead crane awareness
Complete training for Bloodborne Pathogens
These duties may require the temporary transfer to another department
Other duties as assigned
