About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role plays a vital part in supporting daily operations by ensuring campus facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and health in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday | 5:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Physically able to lift, move, and handle custodial equipment and materials
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-oriented
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Fingerprint background check
- Family Care Registry Safety Check
- TB test
Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial duties throughout the campus
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Assist with event setups and takedowns, both indoors and outdoors
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe environment
- Interact professionally with staff, students, and the public
- Work independently while managing time and tasks efficiently
