We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Green Hills area (Nashville). The Custodian is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a required background check to work in a school environment.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling, and pushing.
- Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone or computer
- Ability to work in a Smoke-free environment
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom, gym, classrooms, and/or cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more.
- Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture.
- Perform floor and carpet maintenance periodically (school breaks).
