Performs custodial and routine maintenance duties, in various areas of the University. Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Less than a high school diploma with the ability to read and write.
- Minimum of six months related experience.
- Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Accuracy in following written and oral instructions.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other University employees and students.
Responsibilities
- Duties may include but are not limited to the following duties: buffing or polishing floors, cleaning carpet, wet mopping, dust mopping, restroom cleaning, vacuuming carpets or rugs.
- Collection and removal of trash or rubbish, dusting, polishing furniture, stripping, and refinishing of floors and performs all cleaning and related duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
