The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and grounds upkeep of The Salvation Army facilities in the Fox Cities. About the role: Perform daily janitorial duties at the Social Services Building, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash and restocking supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap). Clean the gym and kitchen following the noon meal program. Provide janitorial services at the Badger Avenue Building on a regular schedule. Provide, on occasion, custodial support at the Worship and Community Center building. Strip and wax floors, as needed. Maintain the exterior of the Social Services Building by removing trash and items left on sidewalks and grounds. Perform work such as snow removal, gardening and leaf raking. Assist with the setup and cleanup of seasonal programs, including Red Kettles, Coats for Kids and Toy Shop. Carry out routine maintenance tasks according to the established schedule in coordination with the Facilities Maintenance Technician. Communicate maintenance needs, safety concerns and supply inventory updates to the supervisor.
