Custodian -Weekend Days Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00am - 5:00pm The hourly wage for this position is $20.04 to 20.84 plus $1 shift differential New Hire Sign On Bonus - $2,000 What we're about: Innovation-We consistently generate new ideas, thinking outside the box while remaining strategically focused. This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility. What you'll do: This position will be responsible for performing custodial duties throughout the VMS Plant including offices, manufacturing, packaging, blend, warehouses, parking lots, and grounds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year experience.
  • Ability to assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and orderly.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds; and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Work in clean rooms, warehouses, and production environments.
  • Use a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment including floor scrubbers.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping down furniture walls and doors; scrubbing toilets; washing windows; sweeping and mopping floors; and emptying out trash cans.
  • Perform high cleaning in a scissor lift as needed.
  • Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies.
  • Report supply needs to supervisor.
  • Elevate sanitation needs to supervisor.
  • Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
