About The Position

Ebenezer is looking for a Custodian, whom would be responsible for deep cleaning of carpeted surfaces, stripping, waxing and burnishing of hard floor surfaces. This position may also perform general cleaning duties, all within our senior living and skilled nursing community in Bloomington, MN

This position includes;
32 hours in 2 weeks, part-time schedule, 8 hour shift length
Day shift
Every weekend

Requirements

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to read/understand instructions for safety sheets and information on chemicals, infection control practices and body mechanics.
• Ability to perform relevant floor care procedures
• Experience with mechanical equipment

Nice To Haves

• One year previous experience in a similar environment preferred
• Experience in floor care, custodial and/or cleaning work preferred
• High school diploma/GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Carpet sweeping, floor sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
• Carpet extraction
• Stripping, waxing, and burnishing of hard floor surfaces
• Assists housekeeping and laundry staff as needed
• Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
• Empties and removes trash and recycling
• Performs other duties assigned
