About The Position
We are seeking a Custodian for our 1st shift with a starting of $16.50 per hour. If you have experience your pay may be higher. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment for our manufacturing facility. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our facility is clean, organized, and free of hazards. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our employees have a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work
- Must be 18 years old to work at Deco.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break rooms
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
