About The Position

This is a part-time, morning shift position providing custodial maintenance at the Mt. Lebanon Public Library. The shifts are Tuesday through Friday mornings (3-4 hours per shift), and one flexible weekend shift.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general building operations
• Knowledge of PPE, general hand tools, mop buckets, and other custodial equipment
• Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals used in facilities – training provided
• Interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma/G.E.D.
• One year of experience in facilities maintenance preferred but not required.
• CPR/AED Certification – able to be obtained on the job.

Responsibilities

• Completes Custodial Services as directed by Facilities Coordinator.
• Performs cleaning of toilets, sinks, counters, floors, mirrors, and water fountains.
• Re-Stocks paper, soap, sanitizer, sanitary napkin liners, and can liners as needed.
• Vacuuming, dusting, organizing supply stock room.
• Trash Removal and hauling to dumpster locations.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs all other work as assigned.

• PAID SICK HOURS : PART-TIME EMPLOYEES EXPECTED TO WORK MORE THAN 16 WEEKS PER CALENDAR YEAR WILL ACCRUE ONE HOUR OF PAID SICK TIME FOR EVERY 35 HOURS WORKED, UP TO NO MORE THAN 40 HOURS OF PAID SICK TIME IN A CALENDAR YEAR, PER MT. LEBANON POLICY AND ALLEGHENY COUNTY PAID SICK LEAVE ORDINANCE.
