Custodian - Rochester Downtown Campus
About The Position
Works with Lead person/supervisor to facilitate smooth daily operations. May be required to work at multiple sites. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts. Occasional lifting of 50 to 75 pounds and frequently lifting 25 pounds. Required working at elevated levels and will perform various tasks (i.e. emergency cleanups, construction cleanups, and room set-ups). This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship. We will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be organized, efficient and able to work independently and/or in a team setting
- Individual must be able to perform multiple tasks within work shift
- Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services
- Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow
Nice To Haves
- High School Degree or equivalent is preferred
