About The Position

Clay County Facilities is now accepting applications for an open position as a
Variable Hour (Part-Time) Custodian.

This position will clean various campus buildings.

Requirements

• The ability to operate basic clean-up/maintenance equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to walk stairs
• Must successfully complete a background investigation

Responsibilities

• Janitorial/cleaning for County buildings.
• Wash windows and walls, dusts and washes light lenses, dry mop floors, vacuum carpets, dusts furniture and desks, replaces and maintains supplies.
• Collect trash and recyclables
• Operates floor sweeper and scrubbers; removes stains from the floors; uses floor buffer to buff the floors.
• Strip and re-wax floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
