Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves nearly 2000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday late afternoon - evening. To support our mission, preference will be given to individuals with a documented disability. Beacon Group provides extra accommodation and supports to help people with disabilities be successful at their jobs.

  • Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer. Training may be written, oral, computer based, or on the job training.
  • Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
  • Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces.
  • Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
  • Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media.
  • Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
  • Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
  • Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
  • Candidate must have own transportation to/from work.
