About The Position

Duxbury Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates to apply for the position of Custodian for the Duxbury Public Schools. The work schedule is: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM General Duties: - Cleans floors, walls, and windows, both by hand and by use of a vacuum cleaner and floor machine - Empties trash, moves furniture, conducts minor maintenance and custodial duties - Opens and/or closes buildings - Shovels snow - Performs related work as required Supervision: Director of Facilities

Requirements

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, perform minor maintenance, and move furniture
• Ability to complete tasks within specific timelines and occasionally with little prior notice
• Ability to work in group situations requiring teamwork and cooperation and to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with staff, students, and the public

Responsibilities
