Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in an industrial cleaning in a food contact or food manufacturing company.
• Ability to communicate; reading and writing comprehension.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Will work in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires near and far acuity vision.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Standing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, reaching, pulling for 8+ hours shift.
• Lifting required up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
• Tasks are performed in a production or warehouse environment which includes noise and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage upkeep of trash in all factory areas including production floor, break room, smoking areas, storage, and office areas
• Manage cleaning supplies and inventory
• Use approved cleaning materials
• Follow cleaning protocols
• Inspect for vandalism and illegal entry; report hazardous or unusual conditions
• Clean restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures, appliances and mirrors; restock supplies
• Wash walk and eating areas; clean drinking fountains; make emergency clean-ups
• Complete emergency clean ups as needed per AIB standards and company policies in accurate and timely manner
• Assist in training third party vendors in expectations
