The Custodian is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Employees receive benefits that include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Basic life insurance 401(k) Option Paid holidays PTO after 90 Days Additional Information: Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Work Environment: On Site Travel Requirements: Some travel to other locations as needed Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout facilities for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds, with assistance as needed Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as needed to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, buffers) using manual dexterity Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to cleaning chemicals, with appropriate safety measures Ability to communicate effectively and identify/report safety hazards to supervisor Key Job Responsibilities: Cleaning & Sanitization: Perform routine cleaning, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces and restrooms Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed Facility Maintenance: Complete minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and addressing basic maintenance issues Floor & Equipment Care: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including buffers and carpet cleaners Supply & Safety Management: Restock supplies, maintain outdoor areas as needed, and identify/report safety hazards to ensure a secure environment
