Basic knowledge of custodial processes and procedures.
Ability to operate custodial equipment including but not limited to floor buffer, walk behind scrubber, carpet extractor, mop and bucket.
Ability to take and understand verbal instructions.
Required to legally operate a motor vehicle.
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
One year related experience in custodial cleaning and equipment in a commercial environment.
Must have valid drivers license and maintain insurability through the College's insurance.

Should be team oriented and professional in approach to detail oriented tasks.
Responsibilities
Performs thorough cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout assigned area during assigned hours.
Ensures that assigned areas are properly maintained; restrooms are cleaned and stocked with towels and tissue, and facilities in need of repair are reported.
Picks up trash by emptying wastebaskets and taking refuse to assigned outside work area.
Does light lifting.
Cleans windows and removes soil from walls and furniture.
Performs other related custodial tasks as required.
Performs seasonal duties (i.e. snow removal and salting).
Moves furniture, sets up chairs and equipment for special events.
Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain insurability through the College's insurance.
