About The Position

To maintain buildings and grounds in good order. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to do routine manual work of average difficulty in cleaning and providing light maintenance of buildings and grounds under close to moderate supervision. The physical condition necessary to bend, stoop, and lift to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to do routine manual work of average difficulty in cleaning and providing light maintenance of buildings and grounds under close to moderate supervision.
• The physical condition necessary to bend, stoop, and lift to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean walls, floors, fixtures, windows, sidewalks, and other areas on a prescribed schedule.
• Empty trash receptacles as scheduled.
• Move furniture and equipment as necessary to perform cleaning tasks and for special activities.
• Report safety hazards and the need for repairs.
• Maintain buildings and grounds security as assigned.
• Pick up trash, mow grass, trim grass and trees, irrigate, and perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.
• Assist in maintaining storage rooms and work carts in a clean, safe condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
