The Parks & Recreation Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all Parks & Recreation facilities. This position is deemed essential personnel and safety sensitive. The job requires the use of various materials and equipment, such as chemicals, vacuums, steamers, buffers, and carpet extractors in a safe and proper manner. The custodian will perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash, while also ensuring that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and city events as needed.
